Booking conditions

These are the terms for stays booked directly with us. They are short on purpose; if anything is unclear, just ask.

Booking

  • Ask for your dates through the calendar on each gîte's page, or by email. We reply with the price and how to pay. Nothing is held until your deposit arrives.

  • Your stay is booked once your deposit reaches our account. We then send you a confirmation and your rental contract for your records.

  • Prices are for the whole stay, in euros. Beds are made up for you, and towels, pool towels and beach towels are provided, as is wifi.

Paying

  • Deposit: half the accommodation price, by bank transfer, with the reference we give you.

  • Balance: the rest of the accommodation plus the taxe de séjour, 14 days before you arrive.

  • Booking less than 14 days ahead: please pay for the whole stay when you book.

  • Our bank details will never change by email. If you ever get a message saying they have, please call us before paying anything.

Taxe de séjour

The tourist tax is set by the commune: a small amount per adult per night. Under-18s don't pay it. We collect it with your balance and pass it on to the commune.

Cancelling

  • 14 days or more before arrival: a full refund.

  • Between 7 and 14 days before arrival: half the accommodation price back.

  • Within 7 days of arrival: no refund.

  • The taxe de séjour is always refunded if you don't come.

  • If we ever have to cancel your stay, you get everything back.

We recommend travel insurance that covers cancellation.

Arriving and leaving

Check-in is from 4pm and checkout is by 10am. Before you arrive we send you directions and the welcome pack for your gîte.

During your stay

  • Each gîte sleeps the number of guests shown on its page. Please ask us before bringing anyone extra.

  • Dogs are welcome in all four cottages.

  • The heated pool is open from June to September. It is 1.30 m deep throughout, with no shallow end and no lifeguard, so please watch children in and around the water.

  • Please look after the gîte as you would your own home, and tell us about anything broken so we can fix it before the next guests arrive.
