Active days

Walking. Cross the road from us to the St Corentin chapel and hermitage for a half-hour circular walk through fields with sea views. Keep going and the paths lead into Plomodiern or up the Ménez-Hom, our local "mountain" and the highest point in Finistère: all of 329 m, popular with paragliders and perfect for watching the sun set over the sea.

Cycling. A few electric bikes are for hire at Lestrevet beach (first come, first served). Bikes can also be hired in Douarnenez, and from Pleyben for the lovely towpath of the Nantes–Brest canal.

Rainy days. Océanopolis and the botanic garden (Conservatoire botanique) in Brest, laser games and escape rooms, or the indoor pools at Quimper, Crozon and Châteaulin.
